Â鶹AV (Â鶹AV) proudly serves as an authorized American Heart Association (AHA) Training Site under the oversight of the Wake Technical Community College AHA Training Center. As part of this collaboration, Â鶹AV delivers high-quality, evidence-based AHA programs that align with the latest science and educational best practices.

Our training site offers a full range of AHA certification and recertification courses, including:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS)
  • Heartsaver CPR AED, and First Aid
  • AHA Instructor Courses in BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Courses are available to healthcare professionals, first responders, educators, community members, and organizations seeking AHA-compliant training for staff. Training is conducted by experienced and credentialed instructors.

Â鶹AV is committed to promoting life-saving education and supporting community preparedness. Classes are held on both the Person and Caswell County campuses, with options for onsite training for groups and agencies upon request.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

Individuals who are currently employed or are seeking employment in the health care industry must complete a Health Care Provider CPR course. This American Heart Association course fulfills the CPR course requirement.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is the foundation for saving lives. It is designed for healthcare providers and trained first responders who provide care to patients in a wide variety of settings or by those in a healthcare training program.
