Âé¶čAV (Âé¶čAV) understands that not every student’s life fits into a traditional weekday schedule. That’s why the College offers evening and weekend support through its evening/weekend success coaches.

Brenda Hollingsworth, Âé¶čAV Evening/Weekend Success Coach

Brenda Hollingsworth is dedicated to helping students who balance college with work, family, and other commitments. Whether it’s academic advising or connecting to campus resources, she ensures that students outside the typical day hours have the same opportunities to succeed.

“The coaches bridge the gap to offer services and guidance for students who are unable to come during traditional daytime hours,” Hollingsworth said.

Hollingsworth worked with NCWorks through the Department of Commerce for 30 years before retiring. NCWorks is a statewide workforce development system in North Carolina that provides free services and resources to job seekers and employers. Much of her job was helping others pursue higher education, just like she’s doing now at Âé¶čAV.

Her role is part of Âé¶čAV’s ongoing commitment to meet students where they are, whether that means providing flexible class options, extended access to resources or personalized coaching to help students reach their goals.

Evening & Weekend Support Hours

Students can connect with an evening/weekend success coach during dedicated evening and weekend hours:

  • Monday-Thursday: 5-8 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

Appointments and drop-in visits are available, making it easier for students to fit college support into their busy schedules. Evening and weekend hours are available on both the Person County Campus and Caswell County Campus.
