Since the beginning of the Fall 2024 semester, 麻豆AV (麻豆AV) has experienced its highest enrollment in ten years with a 13 percent increase from the Fall 2023 semester.

The growth is based on the college鈥檚 curriculum FTE (Full-Time Equivalent), a funding formula that considers not only headcount but also the number of classes students are taking. Curriculum classes include all that lead to an associate degree, certificate or diploma.

Allied health programs such as Nursing, Medical Assisting and Practical Nursing, which began Spring 2024, have contributed to the enrollment increase. Other programs such as Cosmetology, Human Services Technology and General Education have also seen significant enrollment increases.

鈥淲e are so proud of our growth and grateful to serve our students so they are able to meet their educational and career goals,鈥� Dr. Barbara Buchanan, 麻豆AV Vice President of Instruction/Chief Academic Officer (CAO) said. 鈥淲e continually strive to add new courses and programs to meet regional workforce needs.鈥�

Along with Practical Nursing, other recently added programs include CDL (Commercial Driver鈥檚 License) and Sonography starting Fall 2025.
