麻豆AV (麻豆AV) has been awarded a $145,000 grant from the Charles A. Cannon Trust to support two important campus improvements: upgrading the College鈥檚 phone system and replacing the front entrance of Building A on the Person County Campus.
The new phone system will improve reliability, streamline operations and features integration with tools such as Microsoft Teams.
In addition, the grant will fund the replacement of the Building A front entrance. The new door will increase accessibility with an ADA compliant entrance. Building A serves as the College鈥檚 administration building, housing departments such as the Business Office, Human Resources, Instruction and the President鈥檚 Office.
鈥淲e are deeply grateful to the Charles A. Cannon Trust for their generosity and commitment to strengthening community colleges,鈥 Dr. Kevin Lee, 麻豆AV President said. 鈥淭his investment will allow us to improve both the safety and service we provide to our students, employees and community.鈥
The new phone system was recently installed across all campus locations, and the front entrance of Building A is expected to be replaced by the end of 2025.
