OSHA 10
Basic safety and health information to entry-level workers in construction and general industry. It is part of the OSHA Outreach Training Program, explaining serious workplace hazards, workers’ rights, employer responsibilities and how to file an OSHA complaint.
NCCER: Electrical Level I
The NCCER Electrical Level One course introduces students to the foundational concepts and skills needed for a career in the electrical trade. This course covers the basic principles of electrical theory, safety practices, and essential tools used by electricians.
OSHA Forklift
Instruction on the operation and maintenance of an industrial forklift. Core topics include forklift design, controls and instrumentation, pre-use inspection, safety awareness, and forklift stability. This course meets the training requirement for OSHA regulations
NCCER Core: Introduction to Basic Construction Skills
Core: Introduction to Basic Construction Skills prepares individuals for entry-level positions on project sites by providing the basics in safety, hand and power tools, construction math, materials handling, construction drawings, rigging and employability skills.

Class Meetings: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Registration Fee: Eligible students in  Person, Caswell, Rockingham, Guilford, Alamance, Orange, Durham, and Granville counties can receive a maximum of $750 Pacer Promise scholarship.
The Electrical Pathway
For those students who would like to continue their education and complete the entire electrical pathway, Âé¶¹AV offers NCCER: Electrical Level II, III and IV. Quite notably, hours gained while enrolled in this training will count towards those secondary hours that may be obtain when qualifying for the exam needed for a electrical contracting license.
